Our Impact
MOCSA exists to improve the lives of those impacted by sexual abuse and assault and to prevent sexual violence in our community.
Our Impact
We want you to see the strategic, empathetic and community improving work that our staff, board, volunteers and partners accomplish together. We are excited to share our work on our new three year strategic plan centered on the IDEA framework of Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Accessibility.
Our vision of a community free from sexual violence needs to include recognition of the diverse communities in our Greater Kansas City region, and the histories of marginalization, underservice, and injustice that we must reconcile and solve to serve our community overall. MOCSA is committed to making space for survivors and members of diverse communities so they have a role in informing and executing this new plan.
We can’t wait to share our progress, because our success depends on collaboration and support from our community and friends like you. We are excited to partner with you as we continue harnessing the power of our client-centered, trauma-informed practices to help everyone in our community who has been impacted by sexual violence to lead better and safer lives.
