On Saturday, October 18, 2025, MOCSA hosted the annual Night Out with MOCSA fundraising event with a groovy '70s theme that brought together community members, donors, and supporters for a night of fun and impact. Guests arrived dressed in retro-inspired outfits and filled the stadium with color, laughter, and disco-era spirit.

This year’s event took place at CPKC Stadium – home of the Kansas City Current. This venue made the night even more meaningful, aligning with MOCSA’s mission to empower and support survivors of sexual violence.

Throughout the evening, guests enjoyed a wide selection of food, an open bar, and mingled between indoor and outdoor seating under the lights of the stadium. The auction featured a mix of local art, handcrafted jewelry, and Kansas-themed gift baskets, offering guests a chance to give back while taking home something special.

By the end of the night, MOCSA raised $270,000 in funds that will directly support our ongoing work in advocacy, education, counseling, prevention and legal support for survivors throughout the Kansas City metro.

This year also marks MOCSA’s 50th anniversary, celebrating five decades of standing with survivors and leading the movement to end sexual violence. Night Out with MOCSA was more than a fundraiser—it was a celebration of our legacy, a reflection of the community’s continued commitment, and a reminder of the change that happens when we all come together for a cause that matters.
