MOCSA's Main Office has relocated to 6500 Euclid effective July 14.

MOCSA’s crisis line first rang more than 50 years ago. Every day since, 24 hours a day, MOCSA has continued picking up.

Recently, a MOCSA staff member answered a call from a survivor seeking our services after an assault. During the conversation, the caller shared their experience at a local hospital where they received a forensic exam.

The survivor had a MOCSA hospital advocate present with them for the exam, and spoke highly of the way the advocate supported them through that difficult process.

In 2025, 98 MOCSA Volunteers contributed 12,667 hours to supporting survivors
of sexual violence resulting in a $441,033 Value.

The caller shared that the advocate’s kindness, knowledge, and reassurance was a true light in a very dark moment.

The caller shared the advocate’s name, and the staff member immediately recognized them as one of our trained volunteers.

Our volunteers are critical in ensuring that our Crisis Line never goes unanswered. Because of this volunteer’s compassionate introduction to MOCSA, the caller felt empowered to take the next step in their healing journey.
