Community-level Prevention
Missouri
Our work in Jackson County, Missouri is built by the Kansas City Sexual Violence Prevention Coalition, which was established in early 2020. The coalition draws upon partnerships from neighborhood leaders and social service organizations, as well as law enforcement and city services. We support local neighborhoods facing community violence by providing assistance in improving the physical environment, strengthening connections between residents, shifting social norms about sexual violence, and providing interventionist services to prevent child sexual abuse in Kansas City, MO.
